Yay! Miss Mint's new freebie!

I was making a page for ADSR 3 challenge 7 and using one of Miss Mint's staples. Then I just thought that, hm, why not check out if she has a new freebie or not yet. Then I found out that she has put a new free kit for us all! Thank you, Miss Mint!!

So I found some freebies...

And I can't help to share! They're so pretty, I can't help but downloaded them all, lol. I'm also in the process of moving the freebies in my laptop to CDs. I still keep some of them that I use a lot in my laptop, though. The ones that I love to use. Anyway, here's the freebies that I was talking about:

By Summertime Designs:

By Regi Musa:

By Shabby Princess:

By lgperspective:

By ksharonk:

By Kara Perrien:

By Miss Mint:

By Lindsay Jane:

By Kellie for challenges st CLD:

And also, there are many freebies in the LDD Apprentice 2008 gallery. Do check 'em out! The apprentices are really talented!

Anyway, I've spent my $10 GC at Traci Reed's store, hehe. I bought this beautiful kit:

And this unique template set:

Thank you so much, Traci! I hope to join her team blog challenge again. It's so fun and inspiring.

Oh, gotta go now. Haven't finished my assignments! Thanks for stopping by!

I Won! Yaaay!

I submitted a layout for a challenge over Traci Reed's Hawt Mama team blog and won a $10 GC to her store! I'm so excited!! And it's a layout of my boyfriend too, hehe. The challenge is to use at least 3 geometrical shapes in a layout. Here's the layout that won me the $10 GC - it's the one that I use everything from Oscraps' Lucky O collab kit:

So I'm gonna go shopping now! Hehe, I'm really excited. Will be back later to show you I what I get from Traci's store!

More layouts and a Freebie :D

I scrapped yesterday with Jessica Alger's latest kit, Feelin' Lucky. I made 2 pages straight in 2 hours, lol. Here's the kit:

It's poker-themed, but I find it VERY versatile! Look at how it can be used:

Black paper, red frame, green buttons and heart stamp from Feelin' Lucky (link to kit above).
Yellow dotted border from my freebie (see previous post).

Soft yellow paper from Snow Baby.
Yellowish green lined paper from Enamored.
Everything else is from Feelin' Lucky (link to kit above).

And I made a page today with my designs:

You might notice that the pink paper is from my previous freebie, but the color has been toned down. Everything else will be given away as freebies in the future. Hehe. Guess what I have for you in my stash? LOL. Anyway, I don't really like how the page turned out but I really don't have time to redo it. I might redo it when I have the time. I scrapped with my designs because it gives me satisfaction :D

So here's an embellished frame for you, exactly the same one that I used in my page:

You can download it by clicking on the preview. Oh, the blue paper is not included, LOL!

Anyway, if you have some time, do stop by at my assignment blog, hehe... I need some help and feedback on the topic that I'm doing research on. It's for my Design Research assignment. It's very tough for me. Lots of reading and critical thinking. The last time I did something like that was in high school for debate and my study. Since I started doing Arts, I didn't read much. I need to change that. I want to be a responsible and an informed designer. I must start reading more books or articles.

I hope you enjoy the frame and happy scrapping! Thanks for stopping by :D

Layouts share and a Freebie!

Hello everyone! I was back on Sunday but couldn't find the time to post new layouts, freebies or news. I'm writing now on Scribefire. It's a Firefox add-on that enables us to post to our blogs without having to go to Blogger or Wordpress. We can basically post while surfing or working on something else (even while writing e-mails!). It's a really cool add-on if you have many blogs, check it out here.

Good news to share before I show you my pages. I've been picked to guest for Fotosusu this March/April! Hehe, I'm so excited! She has many beautiful products. You can check out her store at Treasures To Scrap.

So, on with layouts share! I made many pages lately and posted them to my galleries. Here are some of the latest, together with the kits that I use to create them (images are linked):
